Hyderabad: In a major boost to employment and industrial growth, Texport Industries Private Ltd (TIPL) is set to launch its readymade garments unit in Apparel Park, Sircilla, with an initial capacity to employ 2,000 women. This marks the second major apparel unit launch in Sircilla, following Green Needle (Gokuldas unit).

Sharing the news on X, BRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed happiness that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2022 has now materialised. He shared visuals of the unit, stating that at full capacity, Sircilla Apparel Park will generate 25,000 jobs, crediting former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s visionary leadership for the initiative.

The Bengaluru-based TIPL, which specialises in manufacturing underwear and T-shirts, has completed construction, and is ready to launch its operations shortly.

The Telangana government had allocated 7.42 acres in Peddur Apparel Park on Sircilla outskirts, investing Rs.64 crore in infrastructure development. The unit, spread over 1.77 lakh sq.ft, aligns with the previous BRS government’s push to transform Sircilla into a textile hub, offering large-scale employment, particularly for women.
