Hyderabad: The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) directed a Hyderabad-based builder, Pacifica Constructions Pvt Ltd, Miyapur, to set up a dedicated grievance redressal cell for Aavas Hyderabad, a residential project.
This is to be done within five days from the date of the interim orders, to address and resolve all concerns raised by the allottees, TG RERA chairman N Satyanarayana stated in the orders issued on July 18.
The TG RERA also directed the builder that the grievance redressal cell should operate at the project site on at least five fixed days in a week, for a minimum of four hours per day, between 11.30 am and 2 pm.
“Provide a dedicated official email ID and helpline number and make available for digital submission of grievances and all grievances must be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved or responded within 15 days by speaking with them,” TG RERA instructed the builder.
Buyers of property in Aavas Hyderabad (Bachupally) had approached the TG RERA and complained against the respondents that they failed to complete the project and deliver possession in accordance with the terms of the Agreement for Sale and the respondents did not make any transparent disclosures or engage in proactive communication with them.
