TGRERA directs Hyderabad-based realtor PVR Developers to form allottees’ association
The Telangana RERA has directed PVR Developers to immediately form and register an association of allottees in the 'Urban Life' project at Shankarpally. The directive follows complaints by two homebuyers regarding project delays and lack of common area management
Hyderabad: The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA), in its interim orders, directed a Hyderabad-based real estate developer, PVR Developers (respondent), Prashant Hills of Khajaguda, to constitute and register the association of allottees and ensure effective adjudication of issues related to common areas and project-wide amenities.
TG RERA chairman N Satyanarayana issued interim orders on July 2 to the real estate developer and said, “Initiate all necessary steps for the immediate constitution and registration of such an Association and file a detailed status report indicating timelines for compliance.”
Two complainants, Rambadri Siddarth and Kiranmayi Tupakula, flat owners of Manjeera Diamond Towers at Nallagandla in Gachibowli, had complained about delays and deficiencies in the execution and completion of a real estate project, ‘Urban Life’, at Survey Nos. 326(P), 327, 328, and 329, Shankarpally village in Rangareddy district.
The project is being developed by PVR Developers. The complainants were allotted Villa No. 47 under an agreement of sale on May 16, 2020.
The realtor has to enable the formation of an Association or Society of allottees within three months from the date on which the majority of allottees booked their units in the project. Complainants had filed a memo with TGREARA stating that no association of allottees has been formed as on date.
