TGSPDCL, Transco talks with Electricity Union end inconclusively
Officials from TGSPDCL and Transco met with leaders of the 1104 Electricity Employees Union to discuss long-pending demands. Though the talks ended without resolution, both sides described the discussions as positive.

Hyderabad: Officials of the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) and Transmission Corporation of Telangana (Transco) held separate meetings on Tuesday with leaders of the 1104 Electricity Employees Union. While the talks ended inconclusively, discussions on pending demands were described as positive.
The Permanent Negotiating Committee (PNC) meeting at TGSPDCL focused on several pending demands that have been pending for days. Union representatives described the talks with management as proceeding “positively,” with assurances on key issues.
Key participants included TGSPDCL CMD Musharraf Faruqui, HR Director Shivaji, Operations Director Narsimhulu, and CGM (HR) HRD Bhaskar.
The union leaders assured the management that cooperation would be extended to every effort aimed at resolving issues, while both sides expressed optimism about implementation timelines for the demands already discussed and agreed upon.
Transco’s CMD and senior management representatives also engaged with union leaders on issues faced by employees and artisans.
TGSPDCL president, A. Venu, General Secretary, Sai Baba, State Additional General Secretary Varaprasad represented the unions. The second phase of the discussions would be scheduled soon, said B Srinivas Naik, information secretary of the union.
