Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (Central) caught three persons who were found selling Chinese manja and seized a huge quantity of manja from them.
The apprehended persons were identified as T Pavan Singh (33), Mahaveer Prasad (35) and Yonith Goel (21).
The three were running shops at Begum Bazaar, Shahinyathgunj and Mangalhat areas and selling the banned items to customers. On being informed, a raid was conducted at the shops and around 500 rolls of the manja was seized, said Task Force (central) Inspector, M A Javeed. The persons along with the property were handed over to local police station for further action.
