Three killed as truck hits stationary vehicle during tyre change in Jangaon
Three persons were killed in a road accident at Nellutla flyover on the Hanamkonda–Hyderabad national highway in Jangaon district on Thursday.

Jangaon: Three persons died in a road accident at Nellutla flyover on Hanamkonda-Hyderabad national highway in Lingala Ghanpur mandal of the district on Thursday.
According to SI, Bandi Shravan Kumar, one of the deceased Rohith of Devaruppula mandal was transporting goods from Hyderabad in a mini-truck. As a tyre of the vehicle got punctured, the driver of the vehicle Madhu stopped it by the side of the road.
Meanwhile, a driver, D Rajender of Beerishettigudem in Danthalapally mandal, who was driving his truck towards Hanamkonda, noticed them and stopped his vehicle by the roadside to offer assistance.
As the trio was changing the punctured tyre, a speeding truck rammed into the vehicle from behind. One of them died on the spot, while two others succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
