Three youngsters killed in road accident in Jagtial
While trying to overtake a car, the motorcycle rider rammed into a lorry coming from the opposite direction
Jagtial: Three youngsters were killed when their motorcycle was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry near Manchinillabavi on Jagtial-Nizamabad main road in the town on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, Armuri Pavan (22), Armuri Srikanth (26) and Ilaveni Naveen (22), all natives of Medipalli mandal headquarters, were proceeding to Jagtial from Medipally on the two-wheeler. While trying to overtake a car, the motorcycle rider rammed into a lorry coming from the opposite direction. All three died on the spot.
Speeding was the main reason for the accident. On coming to know about the incident, police rushed to the spot, registered a case and began investigations. The bodies were shifted to Jagtial hospital for postmortem.
