Hyderabad: Gusty winds and thunderstorms were reported in several areas of Hyderabad and Cyberabad on Sunday evening. The accompanying rain also resulted in waterlogging of some main roads while in Suchitra, Kompally, Alwal, Gajularamaram, Pragathi Nagar and Quthbullapur, trees were uprooted.

Complaints of waterlogging and uprooted trees causing traffic jams were received at the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) control room. DRF teams swung into action and cleared the obstructions promptly.
