Jayashankar Bhupalpally: In a tragic incident, a toddy tapper died after he fell down from a palm tree at Rangaiahpalli village of Regonda mandal in the district on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Bandi Komurelli (65). It is learnt that he had fallen from the tree as the tree became slippery due to the rain on Friday. He succumbed to the injuries on the spot. He is survived by wife Lakshmi, and two sons. The body has been shifted to Parkal CHC for the postmortem by the police. The relatives urged the government to provide to the kin of Komurelli.
