Tractor gutted in flames in Rajanna Sircilla
A farmer Ragati Shankar was shifting the haystack to his residence from his agricultural fields when the incident occurred.
Rajanna Sircilla: A tractor carrying haystacks was gutted in fire near Kothur of Illanthakunta mandal on Saturday morning. The incident occurred when a haystack being carried in the tractor came in contact with a live electric wire at around 11 am.
A farmer Ragati Shankar was shifting the haystack to his residence from his agricultural fields when the incident occurred. Passersby who rescued Shankar, also alerted gram panchayat officials as well as the fire service department. Gram panchayat staff deployed water tanker and doused the fire. Later, a fire engine also reached the spot.
