Medak: A noted trader in Medak town, Ramesh (54), who used to run Saideep Supermarket here, died, allegedly by suicide on Tuesday.
Ramesh, who used to run a small kirana store during earlier days of his career, had opened a supermarket a few years ago. He was known as Saideep Ramesh among the locals.
His family members reportedly informed the police that Ramesh took the extreme step as he was unable to come out of financial troubles. He had reportedly borrowed huge amounts from friends and relatives to build the supermarket building and could not clear them. As the pressure for repayment built up, he decided to end his life and hanged himself to death.
The police registered a case and are investigating.
