Transgender group allegedly assaults family over money demand in Keesara
A group of transgender persons allegedly assaulted a family in Keesara after the house owner refused to pay ₹1 lakh during a housewarming ceremony. Police have registered a case and are working to trace the attackers.

Hyderabad: A group of transgender persons allegedly attacked a man and his family during a housewarming ceremony at Balaji Enclave in Chiryal in Keesara on the suburbs on Monday.
As per available information, the group, who police suspect could have been cross dressers had initially demanded Rs 1 lakh from the house owner, Sadanand, as part of the celebration.
When he refused to pay, a group of about 15 transgender persons reportedly arrived in three auto-rickshaws, abused and assaulted the family members with sticks, leaving them injured.
Based on Sadanand’s complaint, the Keesara police have registered a case and are investigating. Efforts are on to identify and nab the assaulters.
