KCR emancipator of Dalits: MP
By launching the Telangana Dalit Bandhu scheme, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has emerged as the emancipator of the Dalit community, said TRS Lok Sabha floor leader and Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao. In a statement, the MP expressed his happiness over the launch of the scheme in Huzurabad saying that the scheme aims to make Dalits rich and set them free from the bondage of poverty.
For many decades, no leader or government cared about Dalits. For the first time in the country, Chandrashekhar Rao conceived an innovative scheme to ensure that Dalits could live with dignity, he added. The MP reminded that he had mentioned about Dalit Bandhu scheme in the Lok Sabha and asked the Centre to implement the same across the country. He accused the Opposition of making false allegations against the scheme for political gains and hoped that the scheme would be successful with the support of the people.
