Hyderabad: In tune with the TRS party plenary vibrations at Hitex, aroma of nearly 30 dishes will envelope the venue. Participants at the plenary session will be spoiled for choice as the menu includes variety of vegetarian and meat dishes.

To top it all, it is learnt that following TRS working president KT Rama Rao’s instructions, the food arrangements committee has now included Raagi sankati (ragi flour balls) and Irani chai to be served at the venue.


Over 500 cooks from across the State have been roped in to prepare the dishes. Elaborate arrangements are being made to facilitate 8,000 people have lunch at once.

In all, the organisers are making food arrangements that can be comfortably served to nearly 15,000 people. Many volunteers will be serving the food to ensure there is no congestion in the dining section.

In the meat menu, dishes to be served include dum chicken biryani, mutton curry, Paya soup, Boti fry, egg masala, chicken curry, rumali roti and many more.

In the vegetarian section, there will be potato capsicum curry, Bagara rice, veg biryani, white rice, brinjal curry, Lady’s finger fry, dal fry and sambar. Among deserts and savouries, the participants can choose from jalebi, double ka meeta, ice cream, laddu and dry fruits.

Kukatpally MLA M Krishna Rao has been entrusted with the responsibility of food arrangements at the venue.
