Hyderabad: Two construction workers died on the spot after a negligently driven truck ran over them at Petbasheerabad on Tuesday morning.

The victims, whose particulars were yet to be known, were sleeping at a construction site in Gayathri Nagar, when the mishap occurred.

Sources said the driver of the truck loaded with construction material, who reportedly missed to notice them sleeping, ran the truck over them. They died on the spot.

The Petbasheerabad police are investigating.
