The council has asked the college managements to issue their admission notification in at least three leading news dailies, one in each language i.e., English, Telugu and Urdu. They were asked to permit the candidates seeking admissions to apply online.
According to the notification, the institutions approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and permitted to fill NRI seats not exceeding 15 per cent of the sanctioned intake in each course for the academic year, should admit NRI candidates only. The remaining seats should be filled on the merit basis secured in the JEE Main and passed in the inter exams of the TS BIE or TOSS.
The seats left after NRI and JEE Main quota admissions should be filled with eligible candidates who have qualified in the TS EAMCET on the merit basis which is followed by candidates passed in the qualifying examination.
