The Telangana Education Commission has recommended scrapping separate examinations conducted by the Telangana Open School Society and asking its students to appear for regular SSC and Intermediate exams, raising concerns over the impact on thousands of school and college dropouts.

Interested candidates can enroll under Tatkal scheme between January 27 and 29.

Interested candidates can submit online applications via the website https://www.telanganaopenschool.org/.

The pass percentage in the intermediate was 52.72 out of 41668 candidates who appeared for the exams.

It was mandatory for the learners to submit all required documents to the accredited institutions (Schools/Colleges) concerned after online submission of the application, the TOSS said, adding that this step ensures a smooth processing of their applications.

As per the schedule issued, admission notification will be released on July 10 and prospectus will be issued from the same day.

The TOSS students can also make examination fee payment with a late fee of Rs. 50 per subject between February 17 and February 22.
