Medak: In a tragic incident, a 2-year-old boy drowned in a trench dug by the Forest Department to protect the forest area at Haridas Thanda in Shivvampet Mandal on Thursday evening. Manoj, 2, was playing and slipped into the trench filled with water.
In another incident, a 25-year-old man drowned in a tank at Ibrahimpur village of Chegunta Mandal. The victim was identified as Muppidi Sathish (25).
