Two electricians killed as slab collapses at Begumpet apartment
Two electricians died after a slab collapsed at Methodist Colony, Begumpet. Apartment owner Dwikar Prasad, who hired them for electrical work, was injured. Police have registered a case. The bodies were moved to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.
Hyderabad: Two electricians were killed when a portion of slab caved in at Methodist colony, Begumpet on Sunday.
The victims are identified as Devender (60) and P Vivek (30), both residents of Seetharambagh, Asifnagar.
According to the police, the owner of a flat Dwikar Prasad, had hired the services of two electricians Devender and Vivek, for some work at his flat located on the third floor of an apartment building, at Methodist colony, Kundanbagh. “Devender, Vivek were working while Prasad was standing in the balcony when all of a sudden the slab caved in. All the three persons landed on the ground and suffered injuries. Devender and Vivek, died on the spot due to injuries, while Prasad, was rushed to hospital,” the police said.
The bodies of Devender and Vivek, were shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination. A case is registered.
