Two held for robbery in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Habeebnagar police arrested two persons on charges of assaulting and robbing a youngster here on Tuesday.
The arrested persons were Mohd Abdul Jameel Khan (26), a student from Vijaynagar colony and Mohd Aijaz Khan (22), a bike mechanic from Asifnagar.
According to the police, a youngster Suraj (21), a private employee from Mehdipatnam went to pick up his cousin from college at Abid Road on Monday afternoon and met their mutual friend, who was also from the same college. His cousin requested him to drop her friend at a shopping centre on his bike. When they reached near Labour Adda in Habeebnagar, the suspects stopped them and started abusing him.
“They questioned him why was he moving around with the girl and thrashed him as well before fleeing with his mobile phone,” police said. Based on a complaint, the Habeebnagar police booked a case and arrested them.
