Hyderabad: The Jagadgirigutta police arrested two persons including a juvenile on charges of burglaries and automobile thefts on Wednesday. Police recovered 10.6 tolas of gold and 75 tolas of silver ornaments from them.
The arrested persons were D Ravi (20) from Suraram Colony in Quthbullapur and a 16-year-old boy. One suspect, Bharath, was absconding. Police said they were involved in cases in Jagadgirigutta, Balanagar, Jeedimetla, Petbasheerabad, Dundigal and KPHB.
They identified locked houses in secluded residential colonies and broke into them apart from stealing motorcycles parked in front of the houses.
Based on a recent complaint, the Jagadgirigutta police booked a case and nabbed the suspects while they were moving around suspiciously.
