Two new Additional Director posts sanctioned in TS agriculture department
The department has been restructured with two new divisions of Marketing Analysis Wing and Agriculture Input Subsidy which will be now headed by the officers of Additional Director’s rank
Hyderabad: The State government issued orders sanctioning two posts of Additional Directors in the agriculture department here on Wednesday. The department has been restructured with two new divisions of Marketing Analysis Wing and Agriculture Input Subsidy which will be now headed by the officers of Additional Director’s rank.
The Additional Director of Marketing Analysis Wing will be responsible for study and analysing the market to identify crops with demand in market. The wing will also coordinate and organise awareness programmes on new and alternative crops among farmers. The Additional Director of Agriculture Input Subsidy will be responsible for planning and providing input subsidy to the farmers ahead of the commencement of crop season.
Sources said the officials concerned are awaiting orders from the State government to prepare the seniority list from the joint directors’ cadre, based on which the additional directors will be appointed.
