Hyderabad: Two persons ended their lives by suicide in the city on Saturday evening.
According to the police, Ravi Kiran, a resident of Durganagar in Saroornagar, hanged himself due to financial problems, the police said.
Ravi Kiran lived along with his family and recently his father tested Covid positive and was undergoing treatment. Since last few days, Ravi Kiran slipped into depression as the family was spending huge money for the treatment. On Saturday evening, he hanged himself to the ceiling fan in the house. A case was registered by the police.
In the other case, Sagar Gaikvad (22), a resident of Golnaka, hanged himself to death at his house on Saturday evening. The family members told the police that Gaikvad was facing some personal issues and might have ended his life over it. A case was registered.
