Mancherial: Two students belonging to Telangana Social Welfare Centre of Excellence (TSWR CoE)-Bellampalli excelled in National Eligibility-Cum Entrance Test (NEET)-2021 of which results were declared on Wednesday. They were felicitated by the management of the centre on the premises of the institution.
Inala Saidulu, principal of the centre said that the students were Konuri Umesh Chandra and Borkut Anil. While Umesh achieved 5,906th rank by registering 468 marks, Anil secured 9,232nd rank as he got 438 marks out of the total 720. The two brought recognition to the institution and the district by shining in the national-level entrance, he remarked.
The principal further said that Umesh and Anil were the pioneers from the first batch of Intermediate course to pursue medicine course and stood as an inspiration to others. A special action plan and dedication by teachers helped the pupils to fare well in various entrances. The town, which lost its sheen due to shifting of coal mines, has become a destination of quality education, he opined.
Vice-principal K Raj Kumar, teachers Chand Raj Kumar, Mitte Ramesh, Akinapalli Rajesh, Gajula Rajender, Chiluveri Sagar, Ravinder, Avunuri Ravi, Anirudh, Vijay, Pramod Kumar, Datta Prasad and non-teaching staff congratulated the rankers.
