Two women killed after being hit by train near Nandigama in Rangareddy

Two women, Preeti (22) and Ch Kumari (15), were killed after being hit by the Hundry Express near Nandigama in Rangareddy district. The duo was reportedly walking along railway tracks after collecting firewood. Railway Police have launched an investigation.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, two women lost their lives after being struck by a train near Nandigama outskirts in Rangareddy district on Sunday.

The victims were identified as Preeti (22) and Ch Kumari (15), natives of Bihar who were residing locally.


According to railway police, the duo had gone to collect firewood for cooking and were returning home while walking along the railway tracks when the Hundry Express hit them. Both died on the spot due to the impact.

On receiving information, the Government Railway Police visited the spot and took up the investigation.
