"two-women-killed"

Two women, Preeti (22) and Ch Kumari (15), were killed after being hit by the Hundry Express near Nandigama in Rangareddy district. The duo was reportedly walking along railway tracks after collecting firewood. Railway Police have launched an investigation.

Police said when the victim reached Moosapet ‘Y’junction, a truck driver truck who was driving quite fast, lost control of the steering wheel and hit her scooter from the backside. She fell on the road and died on the spot due to grievous injuries

According to reports, Nirmala and Solanka Rama were struck by lightning while working in an agriculture field at the village

The driver, who reportedly lost control over the steering due to lack of sleep, hit four electric poles before the vehicle came to a halt.
