Sangareddy: Is the Sangareddy district administration and the management of Sigachi Industries not certain about the actual number of people on duty on Monday, or is anyone hiding the actual numbers?

While the Sangareddy district administration kept the number of employees, who attended work on the fateful day, at 143, another list, which electronic media persons captured in their cameras in the security room of Sigachi a few hours after the explosion, says 162 persons attended duty on Monday. The list is also being circulated among the employees.

There is no confirmation on whether the 19 persons shown on duty actually turned up for work. Neither the district administration nor the management of Sigachi has made any statement on this list so far.

Meanwhile, local CPI(M) leaders, who visited the site, said many daily wagers also attend duty every day in Sigachi, but the management is not maintaining their names in the attendance record.

The party leaders alleged that there were many other workers trapped under the debris. They demanded that Sigachi management release the actual list of the workers who attended duty on Monday.
