Union Bank of India organises Suraksha camp in Munchintala village
Union Bank of India held a Suraksha Saturation and Awareness Camp at Munchintala, Rangareddy, with over 300 attendees. Sanction letters worth Rs. 50 crore were distributed, and 15 stalls showcased financial products under a nationwide financial inclusion campaign

Hyderabad: Union Bank of India organised a mega Suraksha Saturation and Awareness Camp at Munchintala village in Rangareddy district on Friday.
Over 300 beneficiaries and customers took part in the camp, which was inaugurated by the bank’s Executive Director Nitesh Ranjan and Chief General Manager (Financial Inclusion) Sudhakar Rao.
Speaking on the occasion, Nitesh Ranjan explained the objectives of the Jana Suraksha Saturation Drive, aimed at increasing awareness and access to social security schemes.
In his address, Sudhakar Rao emphasised the role of financial empowerment through government-backed social security schemes and urged greater public participation.
The bank had set up 15 exhibition stalls to promote understanding of various financial products and services. Sanction letters worth Rs. 50 crore were distributed to beneficiaries under multiple government-sponsored schemes.
The camp was part of a nationwide campaign launched by the Department of Financial Services to ensure the saturation of Financial Inclusion (FI) schemes at the Gram Panchayat and Urban Local Body levels.
