Hyderabad: Dr. Sathya Prakash Elavarthi, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected for the Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Award (2021-22). The fellowship supports his visit to the University of Hartford, Connecticut, where he will be teaching in the spring semester of 2022.

Dr Elavarthi will be teaching Media Economics and Management — Global and Indian Perspectives at the University of Hartford, and will also offer a three-day workshop on independent documentary film-making in India and a couple of research talks.
