Hyderabad: Allegedly upset over losing his mother, a man died by suicide in Durgam Cheruvu in Madhapur.
The victim was identified as A Chandrakanth (27), who works for a pest control company, was a resident of Bansilalpet in Secunderabad.
Police said Chandrakanth’s mother passed away about seven months ago due to chronic illness and since then, he was upset and mostly stayed isolated from his family and friends. He left the house on Sunday, leaving the mobile phone behind and is suspected to have come to the lake and jumped into it. His body was found late evening on Tuesday.
The Madhapur police, with the help of swimmers, retrieved the body and with the help of the official identity card, he was identified and his relatives were informed.
