Velama Association of Australia elects new executive committee

Hyderabad: The Velama Association of Australia (VAA) has elected a new executive committee (7th EC), which will be in effect from June 2025 to May 2027.
Returning officer Vamshi Gone presided over the election process and the committee was elected unanimously. The community members commended the outgoing team led by president Srinivas Rao (Tony) Takkallapalli for organising events for the last couple of years and thanked the team for their services.
Members congratulated new committee led by President Ranga Rao Rangineni and wished them well for success in holding future events. New committee members thanked the community members for giving them an opportunity to seve them for the next two years.
Established in year 2018 to bring the community in Australia together and help each other, VAA has organised events like Bathukamma & Dasara and Vanabhojanalu for the last seven years. VAA members also raised funds to help economically underprivileged families and students in India.
