Vemulawada temple, other temples in Karimnagar closed on account of lunar eclipse
Temples across the erstwhile Karimnagar district, including Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple and Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple, were closed on Monday due to the lunar eclipse and will reopen in the evening after rituals and cleaning
Karimnagar: In view of the Lunar Eclipse, authorities closed the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple and all other temples in the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Monday morning.
At Vemulawada, Bheemeshwaralayam and other associate temples were shut after performing Prahathakala poojas at 6 am. The shrines will be reopened at 7.30 pm after Samprokshana.
Devotees will be allowed to have darshan of the presiding deity after the temple premises are cleaned and Nivedyam is offered.
The famous Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple and other temples were also closed as a precautionary measure in view of the eclipse.
