Hyderabad: A separate vigilance security wing is on the anvil for Yadadri temple on the lines of the one at Tirumala.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat said security at Yadadri temple is top priority for the police and all steps were taken to provide foolproof security at the temple.

“Recently, our security wing personnel along with the State intelligence wing went to the Tirumala and studied the security equipment and measures taken there. A proposal is sent to the government for sanction of budget and once done, we will go ahead,” he said.

Bhagwat said there are also plans to establish a separate vigilance wing to oversee the internal security and other security aspects at the temple.
