Warangal: Rs 64 lakh worth agri equipment distributed to women ryots
Minister Errabelli handed over a cheque for Rs eight crore to SHGs and urged them to set up some manufacturing units to make money

Warangal Rural: Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao distributed agriculture implements worth Rs 64 lakhs to women farmers in Narsampet constituency at a programme organised at Chennaraopet mandal centre in the district on Monday.
The implements include one tractor, one rotavator, two cultivators, two tractor ploughs, two cotton choppers, one paddy baylers, one tractor trolley, 32 Taiwan sprayers, eight power weeders, two broom sprayers tractor mounted, 15 brush cutters, two seed cum fertiliser drill, 169 battery operated sprayers and Farmers Producer Group (FPG) to Chennaraopet (13 villages 53 FPGs) and Nekkonda mandal (18 villages 53 FPGs).
Speaking on the occasion, he said farm loans were waived off for the welfare of small and marginal farmers in the State due to the generosity of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He handed over a cheque for Rs eight crore (bank linkage) to Self Help Groups (SHGs) and urged them to set up some manufacturing units to make money. “I will also extend support to set up industries in Chennaraopet,” the Minister added.
District Collector M Haritha urged the women farmers to strive to become economically empowered. “The State government will extend all kinds of support to the women to grow economically and become successful entrepreneurs,” she added. MLA Peddi Sudharshan Reddy and others were present.
