Two youngsters are seen singing about Telangana, the land known for agitations and movements, which was now taken over by pain and grief.

They explained about how police were resorting to lathi charge against the unemployed youth and how objections were being raised over GOMs 29 and aspirants were demanding implementation of GOMs55. Similarly, they also pointed out Telugu Akademi books were being set aside and wikkipedia was being preferred.

This was not an isolated case. Recently during the Bathukamma festivities, women from different areas in the city had penned new songs against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, especially regarding the Musi Riverfront project.

Women in different colonies of Chaitanyapuri, LB Nagar and other areas had played Bathukamma appealing to the Chief Minister to refrain from demolishing their houses as part of the project and let them live peacefully. These videos had also gone viral on social media platforms.

Similarly, farmers had also staged protests by singing songs against the Congress government over crop loan waiver scheme implementation failure. Farmers in erstwhile Adilabad, Warangal, Karimnagar and even in the Chief Minister’s constituency had staged protests, sang songs and organized a rasta roko programme.
