Jagtial: The video of a woman thrashing her three-year-old son indiscriminately has gone viral and shocked the public in Jagtial town.
The woman is said to have been beating the child regularly, but the abuse came to light only on Monday after neighbours recorded a video of her act and lodged a complaint with the police.
A resident of Thulasinagar, Sripelli Rama is seen thrashing her son and even kicking him in the video. As she was thrashing the boy every day, neighbours recorded her act on a mobile phone and approached the police.
Reacting to the incident, Sakhi Centre officials visited the spot and shifted the boy to the the centre.
Rama’s husband Anjaneyulu had migrated to Dubai in search of employment.
