Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao, who led the election campaign in Huzurabad by- election supporting the candidature of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) contestant Gellu Srinivas, has said that they will accept the people’s mandate. However, he said that the people of Telangana were closely watching everything how Bharatia Janata Party (BJP) and Congress formed unofficial and unethical alliance to defeat TRS candidate. As some of the Congress leaders openly said that the Congress supported BJP candidate Eatala Rajendar, Rao said people of Telangana knew that the BJP and Congress arch rivals in national politics.

In a press statement here on Tuesday, the Minister said that they, however, will continue to serve the people of Huzurabad. Thanking the voters who kept faith in TRS party by voting them in a huge number, the Senior TRS leader opined that TRS Party did not lose any votes in the election, but lost because the Congress supported BJP. However, Rao said that TRS party and it’s cadre will not lose the morale with a single election loss. He has called upon the party cadre and leader to stay strong to achieve much bigger goals in the future.
