Scores of eminent personalities wish the Chief Minister on his 68th birthday

Hyderabad: President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were among the scores of eminent personalities including Chief Ministers, Governors, Chief Justice of India, leaders of political parties, foreign diplomats and celebrities who greeted Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on his 68th birthday on Thursday.

President Ram Nath Kovind and Modi personally called up the Chief Minister over phone and conveyed their greetings. Earlier, the Prime Minister tweeted: “Birthday wishes to Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu. Praying for his long and healthy life.” Chief Justice of India NV Ramana also greeted the Chief Minister on his birthday. With greetings pouring in from various quarters, #HappyBirthdayKCR was trending high during the day.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin called up the Chief Minister and conveyed his wishes. In an earlier tweet, Stalin said, “Birthday greetings to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao garu, the leader who is persistently fighting for the rights of the States and regional autonomy. Let us all work to protect the cooperative federalism and the dignity of States guaranteed by the Constitution.”

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy tweeted, “Warm greetings to Telangana CM Sri KCR garu on his birthday. May God bless him with good health and long life.” Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan too wished good health and happiness to Chandrashekhar Rao in a tweet. union Minister of Roads, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari tweeted, “Birthday wishes to the Chief of Telangana Shri K Chandrashekhar Rao ji. May you be blessed with good health and long life.”

US Consul General Joel Reifman tweeted: “Birthday wishes from all of us to Chief Minister KCR. We thank you for helping strengthen US-India ties over the years” while British Deputy High Commissioner Andrew Fleming also conveyed his greetings to the Chief Minister. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also greeted the Chief Minister. “Heartiest birthday wishes to honorable Chief Minister of Telangana Shri K Chandrashekhar Rao ji. May Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev bless you good health and long life,” he tweeted.

TRS working president and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao said: “To a man who can only dream big, who has made impossible an art of possible, One who leads with a heart full of compassion, One who defines courage and challenges status quo. Besides Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan who greeted the Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya tweeted: “Heartiest birthday wishes to Telangana Chief Minister Shri K Chandrashekhar Raoji. May the Almighty bless you with a healthy and long life!” Former Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan also conveyed his birthday wishes to the Chief Minister.

Apart from Chief Ministers, MPs from different political parties also conveyed their wishes. BJP State Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar too extended his greetings. “I wholeheartedly pray for your long and healthy life,” he tweeted. Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said best wishes to Telangana CM Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao garu on his birthday. “May he be blessed with good health and a long life,” he tweeted.

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu tweeted “Birthday wishes to Telangana CM Shri K Chandrashekhar Rao garu. I wish you a happy and healthy life,” Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan also extended greetings to the Chief Minister. Megastar Chiranjeevi extending his wishes tweeted “I pray to God to bless you with all energy to achieve your goals and public service,”. As people from different sections were wishing the Chief Minister, it was trending on Twitter.

Film actor Mahesh Babu tweeted “Wishing our Telangana Chief Minister KCR garu a very happy birthday! Great health and happiness always”. Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni tweeted “Many happy returns of the day to Chief Minister KCR Garu! Happy to announce the adoption and laying the foundation for the ANR Urban Park in Chengicherla forest area by the Akkineni family.”
