Will shift IT firms to old city if BJP voted to power: Bandi

Hyderabad: Accusing the AIMIM of neglecting older parts of the city for decades, BJP State president Bandi Sanjay on Monday said if the BJP is voted to power in the State, IT companies from Hitec City would be shifted to the old city.
Addressing a gathering at Aarey Maisamma on the way to Himayathnagar during his Praja Sangrama Yatra, Sanjay said his party is not against any religion or a particular section.
The BJP chief, who began the third day of his padayatra from Tippu Khan Bridge near Bapughat, Langer Houz, asked people whether they wanted a development-oriented BJP or a divisive force like the AIMIM. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had an unholy alliance with the AIMIM only with an eye on the 12 per cent minority votes. “If the BJP is voted to power, then all the properties and lands belonging to Nizam will be seized,” he said.
The BJP leader emphatically said “Praja Sangrama Yatra” was launched to gather information about the problems faced by people in Telangana and the alleged corruption in the government.
He exuded confidence that the party would unfurl the saffron flag on Golconda Fort after the Assembly elections. Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, Karnataka MP Munuswami, former Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud addressed people during the yatra.
