The Guinness World Record had previously credited a woman from China for the longest hair in the world – 18 feet 5.54 inches hair. Although the unusual record was not broken, this girl named Zahab Kamal has gone further unique with her hair.
The 30-year-old Pakistani-origin squash player in the USA has been growing her hair since the age of 13. With the help of her family, she managed to take great care of her hair which grew up to 6 feet 3 inches. Zahab had mostly tied it into a bun but it is definitely a sight when she opens it.
However, she decided to cut 61 inches out of it and donate it to an organisation called ‘Children With Hair Loss’ that provides wigs for the kids in need. She took to Facebook to celebrate her feat.
Not only was this done for a good cause, but Zahab also wants to publicise the NGO she runs with her sister called ‘Zahab Neha Foundation’ in Karachi. This helps poor children in the city get schooling and sports activities.
As she posted on Facebook, netizens lauded her efforts and thanked her for being so kind. A user named Sonya Williams also asked about the oil she used, which might have crossed several girls’ minds, “I would love to know what kind of oil your G-ma used for your hair. Please inbox me.”
