Woman commits suicide along with her two kids in Khammam
The deceased were identified as D Vanitha (30), her son Chaitanya (10) and daughter Rohitha (7), residents of Revathi Centre area in Khammam
Khammam: A married woman allegedly committed suicide along with her two kids by jumping into Munneru stream at Kalvoddu area in Khammam on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as D Vanitha (30), her son Chaitanya (10) and daughter Rohitha (7), residents of Revathi Centre area in Khammam. The locals tried to save them as the woman shouted for help but in vain.
The woman along with the kids was living at her mother’s house at UPH Colony for the past one month as her husband, D Ravi, an autorickshaw driver, was infected with Covid-19. Financial troubles were said to have driven her to take the extreme step.
Based on the complaint by the woman’s father, Srinivas, the three-town police booked a case and took up an investigation into the incident.
