Woman files complaint over blackmail and harassment in Hyderabad
A 27-year-old private school teacher from Chengicherla lodged a complaint with Medipally Police alleging that a car driver known to her had been blackmailing and harassing her using old photographs. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation
Hyderabad: A 27-year-old private school teacher from Chengicherla lodged a complaint with Medipally Police alleging that a man had been blackmailing her using photographs and claiming to be in love with her.
According to police, the woman became acquainted with the suspect, identified as Sai, a car driver. He allegedly threatened her using photographs of them taken together in the past and, on June 10, also called her husband, claiming that he loved her and was in possession of photographs with her.
Following the continuous harassment, the woman approached the police and lodged a complaint.
The case is under investigation.
