Woman found dead in farm in Telangana’s Asifabad
Victim Gurle Lalitha’s mother accuses son-in-law of murder, lodges complaint

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A 35-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a farm at Lodpalli village in Penchikalpet mandal on Monday.
Kagaznagar Rural Inspector Srinivas Rao said Gurle Lalitha, wife of Ganesh, was found dead due to injuries on her chest. Lalitha’s mother-in-law Laxmi noticed the body in the farm and alerted police, who rushed to the spot and began probe.
Thanu Bai, the mother of Lalitha, lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that Ganesh murdered her daughter by smothering her to death. She accused him of harassing her by suspecting her fidelity for quite a long time. The couple has a son and a daughter aged below 15.
Hailing from Lodpalli, Lalitha was married to Ganesh over 15 years ago.
A murder case was registered against Ganesh. Post-mortem was conducted by doctors from a government hospital in Sirpur (T) and professors of Mancherial government hospital.
