Woman killed in road crash
A 34-year-old woman died after the car she was travelling in rammed into a stationary container lorry near Pedda Amberpet on Hyderabad’s outskirts. She was shifted to a hospital in Vanasthalipuram, where doctors declared her dead. Police are investigating the case

Hyderabad: A 34-year-old woman lost her life after the car in which she was travelling rammed into a stationary container truck near Pedda Amberpet on the city outskirts on Monday.
The accident occurred close to the Outer Ring Road junction near Sriram Automall in the afternoon.
According to available information, Sai Kiran Kumar, a resident of Bachupally–Pragathi Nagar in Kukatpally, was returning to Hyderabad from Vijayawada along with his wife Mohana Priya (34) and their two children.
When their car reached the junction near Pedda Amberpet, it reportedly crashed into a container lorry that was parked on the national highway. Mohana Priya suffered grievous injuries in the accident.
She was immediately shifted to the Area Hospital in Vanasthalipuram in an ambulance, where doctors declared her dead.
The Abdullapurmet Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
