Mancherial: The two-day workshop on oil paintings for artists concluded on the premises of the office of Chitrakala Art Workers Welfare Association (CAWWA) here on Saturday.
Hyderabad-based prominent artist Sesha Brahmam, popularly known as Braham conducted the workshop, which was hosted by CAWWA in collaboration with Nenu Saitham, a voluntary organisation of Mancherial.
The application of oil painting, how to face challenges while using it and preserving artworks was explained to enthusiastic artists during the workshop. Brahmam demonstrated the usage of the oil painting by drawing a life-size portrait. He clarified the doubts of the participants and shared his insights to excel in the field of art. Around 20 artists belonging to different parts of the district participated in the workshop.
CAWWA Mancherial district president Yadagiri, general secretary Mallesh, senior artist Ramana, artists Murthy, Ashok chary, Vishwa Kumar, Madhu, Rama, Pranava Depti and Keerthi were present.
