Worms in ‘upma’ for breakfast: 15 SC hostel students hospitalised in Gadwal
Fifteen students of an SC hostel in Jogulamba Gadwal district were hospitalised after allegedly finding worms in the upma served for breakfast. Some students reportedly fell unconscious. All were shifted to the Government Hospital, where doctors said their condition is stable.

Jogulamba Gadwal: Around fifteen students of an SC hostel were hospitalised after having breakfast in the hostel on Tuesday morning. The hostel staff and teachers immediately shifted the students to the Government General Hospital in the town.
The students were served upma, bananas and biscuits for breakfast. They later complained that they had noticed worms in the upma, and a few of them fell unconscious.
Doctors at the government hospital, who are treating the students, said their condition was stable, according to reports.
