According to officials, first dose of Covid vaccination was completed to 100 percent of the population of the villages — Rahimkhanguda, Palleguda, Thurkapelly, Lothkunta, Jangareddy Palli, Gangapuram, Narsaigudem, Narsapuram, Bokkonigudem, Yerrakalva, Chithapuram, Gurnadhpelli, Kechpelli, Mogilipaka, Goparajupelli, Appareddypally, Mandanampally, Jameelapet, Nidi Thanda, Akkampally, Puligilla, Kadirenigudem, Girgoina gudem, Kondapuram, Errambally, Kurmagudem, Mannemvaripampu, Jammapur, Yousufnagar and Lingojigudem.
Speaking to Telangana Today, District Medical and Health Officer Dr Sambashiva Rao told that second dose of vaccination of was completed more than 30 percent of the population in these villages. Out of these 30 villages, 15 villages ( 50 percent) come under Valigonda mandal.
He told that the first dose of vaccination was completed to 3,11,063 people and the second dose for 1,51,765 people. The figures of vaccinated persons aged above 18 years. So far, 4,62,828 people were covered by COVID vaccination i.e. include the figures of first dose and second dose. Total population of the district is 7,39,448.
He informed that over 1,000 staff of health department, ANMS, Asha workers and anganwadi workers were pressed into service to take up special COVID vaccination drive in the district. He exuded confidence that all 300 habitations in the district would be soon made as 100 percent COVID vaccinated places as early as possible.
