Yadadri-Bhongir: Ramannapet police on Saturday arrested three persons accused in the murder of a youth at Yellanki village of Ramannapet mandal in the district.
The arrested persons were identified as Nakerekanti Sathyam (25), Guni Yella Swamy (31) and Guni Chandraiah (61), all natives of Yellanki village.
Speaking to the media in Bhongir, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Yadadri-Bhongir zone Narayana Reddy said Jinuka Shiva (25) was hacked to death by the three persons at Yellanki village on February 11. Chandraiah has developed enmity against Shiva as his daughter Swapna fell in love with him. He hatched a plan and killed Shiva with the help of Sathyam and Yella Swamy. After the incident, the three persons escaped from the village. On receiving credible information, the police arrested the three persons at Valigonda, he added.
