The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has developed Yadadri temple in the manner of Sri Krishnadevaraya. Even though several persons project themselves as Hindu leaders, the name of Chandrashekhar Rao would remain in the history for development of the temple.
Terming Yadadri as a best spiritual destination for the devotees, he made it clear that temples were not properties of any one as they belong to people. Temples were properties of sanathana dharma. There were difference of opinions in vaishnavites and shivites, but Adi Shankaracharya had written stothras praising all the Gods. No temple should be limited to either shaivites or vaishnavites.
Mantras written by Adi Shankaracharya were being chanted at Yadadri temple by the priests. Yadadri also hosts temples of other Gods also, he reminded. He exuded confidence that Yadadri would developed on par with Tirumala.
Earlier, the temple priests welcomed Swaroopanandendra Swamy with a purna kumbham. Accompanied by temple Executive Officer N Geetha, he also examined the developed temple. He was the first pontiff, who visited Yadadri after reopening of the renovated temple on the hill shrine.
