Yadadri-Bhongir: Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple witnessed huge rush of devotees on Sunday, which was last day of auspicious Karthika Masam.
It took two houses to the devotees for general darshan at Balalayam in Yadadri hill shrine and one hour for special darshan. Sunday being a holiday and last day of Karthika Masam, the queue lines were packed with the devotees since early morning. Arjitha pooja began at the temple from 4 am. Sudarshana homam was performed at Balalayam by the temple priests. Large number of devotees also participated in Kalyanostavam held in Balalayam.
The premises on Yadadri hill shrine were packed with the devotees on the day. Personal vehicles were not allowed onto the hill shrine by the temple security personnel as per the restriction imposed on vehicles’ movement. The devotees utilized special TSRTC buses and auto rickshaws to reach onto the hill shrine.
Special Chief Secretary of Forest Shantha Kumari also visited the temple and participated special pooja. Temple Executive Officer N Geetha welcomed Shantha Kumari on her arrival to Balalayam.
